Hand-carved, printed linocuts of three critters–Manis crassicadata (Indian Pangolin), Dasypus novemcinctus (Armadillo), and Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris (Capybara)–on unbleached muslin, inspired by the 18th century “cabinet of curiosities” compiled by professional and amateur naturalists. The muslin is then hand-stitched into a fabric frame/tapestry backing, cut from premium loss-wax fabric from Ghana, with hanging tabs. Hanging rod not included.
Measures approximately 12 x 40″.
